Hi all. New here from Northern California. Just wanted to say hello and a big "thank you!" for all of the incredible knowledge on this forum! :mug::tank:

Thanks guys! Passedpawn, I am in Marin county, about 5 minutes north of the Golden gate bridge. I regularly do the drive down to Santa cruz and then Monterey/Carmel via route 1, I love it down there. I visit Santa Rosa quite often as well and do the beer trail of moonlight, russian river, bear republic, etc etc. Can't beat it!

Down in the Monterey area here :)

Next time you are down here check out the new Alvardo tasting room in Salinas. It's only open few hours, but they have everything on tap there, and it's significantly cheaper here than their brewpub in Monterey.

Ahhh yes, Salinas, the home of Laguna Seca, I visit there pretty regularly too!:D I've been drinking a lot of alvarado street lately... I've only been to the brewpub and must say I really love their "contains no juice" and the "38 miles" they just did with SARA was fantastic. I will definitely check out the new tasting room next time I'm there, thanks for the heads up!

No worries; it's a bit cheaper. They do 4oz, 8oz, and 16oz pours...just canned their Tayberry sour so I'll be headed over there today to scoop up some cans :)

Welcome! To the forum. If your ever up in the Redding area look us up.

I spent the last weekend in SF. Went to see Temple of the Dog at Bill Graham. I love hanging out in the city!

Cheers
