Hello everyone, first snow here today in northern Minnesota. A big day but it will be gone by the weekend. I just racked my first batch of Honey Amber Ale into my secondary and am afraid I did it too soon. It looks like the crud in the bottom of the primary is still giving off some bubbles. I am thinking of maybe putting it back into the primary for a few more days. Is that the worst idea in the world or not? Everything is still sanitized and the lid is back on the primary along with all the sludge. Anyway, I think this is gonna be a great hobby and am looking forward to many great brews.

in the primary for 3 days I didn't do any hydro readings. The Krausen had sunk so I thought it was good to go. My original hydro reading was 1.58.
Thanks
Sorry, it was in the primary 4 days.

I don't think I would put it back into the primary at this time. I would check the gravity to see where your beer is at. You could add some dry yeast to the secondary if there is still some sugar to ferment. I know it was your first batch but let the beer ferment at least 5 - 7 days if not more and you will be better off.
