I've been lurking around this site for a little while trying to soak up as much as I can, so I figured I'd finally join. I've been brewing for just under a year. I started with good ol Mr Beer, and then upgraded to five gal batches. I've got about a dozen brews under my belt, and its safe to say I'm hooked. I'm looking forward to being a part of this community! :mug:

hi

noob from the southwest side (in the city).

so far, brewing in 1 gallon batches and getting all my stuff from bev-art on western

which suburbs, or at least which direction?

Welcome!

Im up in Carol Stream, good to know theres a lot of chi-suburb brewers! Ill send up the bat-signal when i get a stuck mash. lol

cool... i'm doing a nice little wheat later today, while i watch the irish on tv.

wife loves it, keeps me at home, and i get beer and football all at the same time.

:)

Noice, we are doing our wheat ipa today, thats why im up at 5:30. I can never sleep past my normal weekday wake up time on brewday, too much going through my head. haha

What's a Li-on? :ban:

And yeah, I'd like to see Discount Double Check lose a few more before they right that ship. Really though, of all three, I'd like to see a Vikings loss the most... they've had too good a start for my liking.

Yea who would have thought the Bears would be battling the Vikings for 1st in the division? Though I'm sure that won't last, the Packers are bound to bounce back unfortunately.
