I've been a home brewer since the spring of 1990 (mostly extracts). I've brewed in Norway, the Middle East, and USA. I've taken a sabbatical from home brewing since I moved to Germany (I'm calibrating my taste buds on all the different styles of beer). Some of the things I've discovered; not all German beers are good; German beer sold in Germany tastes different than the same brands sold in the States. My current objective is to visit all the different monasteries in Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic and drink their beers. Great stuff! I'm also saving up my cash to build a dream brewing set when I return to the States.

Hey, that's one of my objectives, too! Except I don't stand a snowball's chance in hell of accomplishing it.

Welcome to our little online world. You'll find all the answers you need here, but...

Newton's 3rd law of forum physics: For ever answer, there is an equal but opposite anti-answer.

Good luck sorting that out :D

Yes, welcome! Add visiting all the monk breweries in Belgium too! I would like to do all that too, but I doubt I will ever come close.
