Hello all, basically my first post here.
Names James Brewer, 25. Got into brewing cause well, its in the name. I'm actually researching alot of my family background to see if i actually had a brewer in the family, maybe work on picking up the family talent. my current brews have been so so, a few good ones, a few not so inspiring ales.
I've started with extract and specialty grain batches, fermenters in the closet, and oventually into bottles into my other closet. results have been mixed, but ive got all the time in the work at 24 to do this and nail my favorite beer, witbeir. I know, my family is from Wales, but i seem to be doing better at the german brews. So, hello to all my fellow brewers, by skill of course. :)

Welcome, as they say if you ain't dutch you ain't much....oh wait sorry that's Berks County. Welcome aboard. I grew up in Bethlehem, and yes I say I still ask for wahder when I want some water.

Ha I'm in Limerick area... ROFO. Moved from Abington. Ever go to Sly Fox? And as far as asking for H2O, I saw a septa bus with a picture of Rita's water ice, and it said something about welcome to Phila, and have some wood-er Ice...

I used to live on Cherry St. in Pottstown - welcome to HBT.

There's a ton of information here & lots of useful tips - dig in, get educated. My brewing improved a bunch after I started reading HBT.
