Newbie to the whole beer making process....I've been getting into drinking micro brews within the past year and thought I would give it a try. I bought a home brew kit with a Belgium IPA. I am about a week in and I can see the fermentation process slowing down a little. I do not have a secondary to dry hop in so I will be using the primary bucket for that part. I hope to learn more as time goes on!

Welcome aboard. Sounds like you're on your way to some good home brew.

well thanks! Just wondering, is it ok to look in at times and do a gravity reading? I didn't know how much I should mess with the fermenting stage.
