Good evening and great pours to all!

I'm pretty new to brewing and definitely new here. My first attempts where about 10yrs ago and that taught me that sanitation and fermentation control were paramount. I think I finally found the time to put those issues to rest and have now decided to take a more serious approach to brewing beer. I can't ignore my love for beer any longer! lol

I'm a simple Jersey girl that's half Canadian so hockey and beer strangely rule my world. I've already brewed an American Pale Ale and a black IPA. I love all styles of beer. Right now I'm trying to work through some carbonation issues on the second brew. I'm hoping to brew a Sip of Sunshine clone tomorrow. We'll see how that goes. I know that this is an awesome forum filled with knowledgeable brewers so I can't think of a better place to join as I try to brew and perfect the process.

Cheers to all!! ;-)

Welcome. I did a Sip of Sunshine and Heady Topper combo clone (grains of HT, hops of SOS). Turned out great. Good luck with it!

Welcome to the forum, from Minnesota!

Learning the hard way about sanitation and ferm temps is something many of us have been through. Once you get a handle of those two factors, it's a matter of dialing in your process. Be sure to bounce questions off us, as we're here to help. Keep us posted on your brewing adventures.

Thanks Max! Will do.

Hopefully I can escape, too.
Praying the wife can get transferred to Tejas before all hope expires.

I left Jersey for the last time in 1987.

What part of Tejas you are hoping for? My nephew just transferred to San Antonio recently. Just stay away from Houston...elevation is too low. LOL!

I lived in Texarkana, TX for about 9 months while attending the Army School of Engineering and Logistics at Red River Army Depot.
