Brewing for several years now, all grain all the way.

As a former NC resident (AVL for a whopping 2 years - loved it, going back to the Smokies one day), welcome!

What's your favorite style to brew/drink? Weirdly spiced, or a good IPA here.

Hi NCSUpra. Just registered here today myself and posted an introduction. Just trying to get a feel for the homebrewers in the Raleigh/Durham area so figured I'd say hi. I'm located in Cary/Morrisville. Nice name, btw. Recently graduated from NCSU myself.

Yeah. It wasn't pretty. The ACC didn't show up at all this year. Oh well....gave me an excuse to drink a few brewskis.

My go to beer is either an Amber ale or an IPA depending on the mood. It also helps that the IPA style is very forgiving to brew your self. My favorites are a German pils, Veltins, Jever, or a Bitburger. It doesn't taste the same over here so I try and get my good share when I travel.
