Just joined and really have not a clue on how to brew. I really do want to try to brew in the future though. Hope to soak in some knowledge first before I ask the silly newbie questions. :mug:

Welcome. You've come to the right place. There are a lot of knowledgeable people here that are willing to share, along with the search feature you'll learn very quickly.
I will say though, the best way to learn to brew, is to brew. :)

Thanks guys, I just found out their is a shop not too far from me. Hope to visit it real soon. For now just doing some legwork here on the site. Glad I found this site.

aboard this site has helped me a ton.

If you're in Santa Cruz some time drop me a line. We have a really interesting brewing co-op here in town that's all about organic and alternative brewing, if you ever find yourself looking for that type of thing.

I stopped by yesterday at Bottoms Up. Cool guys working the shop, they helped answering some newbie questions I had. Pretty soon I'll be buying their beginners kit. Looking forward to finally getting started.
