Alright, I've been lurking around this forum for a while, just soaking up TONS of great info about brewing (thanks a TON btw :mug:). Just brewed my fifth batch last night, EdWort's haus pale ale (AG). The thing that confuses me, though, is that everything is going so smoothly! Seriously, how did I NOT screw anything up? Well, ok, I had trouble getting it to a boil on the glass top stove (wouldn't go over 200F), but I'm sure it'll be fine.

I guess I just needed to brag to someone who actually cares, nobody at work seemed to give a crap (except the dude who told me he made hooch when he was in jail:D).

Anyway, thanks for all the awesome info. I think i'm gonna try to brew next weekend, too...

Greetings from Reed City.

I don't know that I would worry too much about the boil, but it will def help to do it if you can. A $40 turkey fryer will git R dun!

Welcome Eric... I hail from ROSEBUSH, MI... congrats on your AG success.
