Hi,
My name is Kees. I live in Laar, Germany. 4 weeks ago I collected some windfalls along the roads here, juiced them with a slow juicer and fermented them in a jerrycan with some yeast from the bottom of a Leffe beer bottle. Last weekend I passed the fermenting juice through a towel to remove most of the solids and put the juice in screw-topped wine bottles making sure the CO2 can stil escape.
Fermentation is slowing down now. I going to buy a hydrometer soon to see how much sugar is still left. The juice hasn't cleared yet. That is what I am waiting for now.
