Hello From Kodiak Alaska

Hello glad to have found this very informative forum. I am very new to home brewing I got a starter kit for christmas. I am in the coast guard up here in alaska with a very long winter I thought it would be fun to start brewing my own beer as a hobby. I have already completed my first batch Coopers IPA and am now on my second. No local brew stores since I am on an island so I limited to the internet for equipment.

Welcome! One of my best friends was just sprung from CGAS Kodiak recently. I visited in 2009. How long have you been there?

I just got here in July of 2011 if he was a C-130 mech I would most likely know him.
