I'm from central Iowa, about 20 minutes from Iowa State where I currently go to school. I'm a relatively new brewer (started in May 2015) who skipped extract and immediately jumped in with all grain BIAB.
I've got over a dozen batches under my belt at this point, including some self designed recipes, and feel like I have made a lot of progress this last year figuring out how brewing works. I have taken a lot of information from this forum in the past few months and decided it was time to participate in the discussion.
Currently I've been trying to learn more about building water from RO with salts and I would like to throw out a special thank you to Yooper for the Brewing Water Chemistry Primer.
