Hello from... Hampton Roads!

Greetings all,

I've been a long time admirer of beer (even before I was 21, gasp!) and recently began a lifelong hobby of crafting my own. Last week I went to the local brew store, picked up the required gear, and brewed.

A little about me, I suppose...

I am an electronics technician (radar/navigation for life!) in the US Navy (surprised? A sailor in Norfolk?!). Last month I also picked up the cello - best instrument ever, by the way - and I am also pretty nerdy.
