Hello,
I'm from southern Germany, and while I am blessed with a steady supply of quality lagers and pilseners (nearest brew pub is half a mile from my house), they just don't make hop head beers here. So that is the one reason why I want to home brew, I want to drink (I)IPA and making my own is almost the only way of getting some! Cheers to you on the west coast, you don't know how lucky you are.
I just bottled my first ever hopped extract brew and am finding it really hard to wait before I can open the first one.
