Hello I am Robert and I just got back from a 3 year tour of Germany where I really found out how much I love beer! When I came back to the states I was dismayed that even my old favorite Yuengling just wasnt up to what I had been drinking in Germany. The only domestic beer I dont spit out is SA. A SSG friend of mine said that he brewed his own beer and said Ishould try doing that. "Yeah, Yeah", I said. Until I saw a small kit offered in my local B&N bookstore that came ready to brew Hefeweissen. I bought the kit and brewed it that night.
Fast forward..
I just bottled it Saturday but not before having a taste and I just was like JTFC it is just like it tastes in Germany, only flat. And so now it is on like donkey kong.
I cant wait to brew a Rauchbier, being stationed close to Bamberg I had a few, which is a very rare and unique drink.
