My name is David. I started brewing about about two months ago after I heard about cider making on a The Survival Podcast. I have since run a few batches of one recipe (I'll include it below) and have just started my first big batch (unicorn blood). I have to say I love it all so far, making my own alcohol is a pretty neat deal.

Yeast Starter: N/a
Batch Size (Gallons): 1 Gallon

Color: Cloudy Amber
Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 7-10 Days at room temp 1 day cold carsh
Secondary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): none
Tasting Notes: Apple Pie
1 Gallon of whole foods unfiltered cider
1/4 cup of honey to start
Ferment
Finishing: 3/4 cup honey in 1/2 cup hot water and add to cider along with 1/4 tsp each of cinnamon and allspice.
Cold crash and enjoy.
