HOWDY, I am living in California not by choice but because I am in the Air Force and stationed here. I am origanally from Kentucky. I have been brewing for almost a year now. I have over 12 each 5 gallon batches under my belt with one 3 gallon batch of Honey/apple wine. Yesterday I transfered my very first non-kit brew to the secondary.

Welcome to HBT. Sounds like you've been keeping busy with your brewing.

Congrats on making your own recipe. What did you make?

This is what I did.... Its a deep redish brown color..... I did the canned kit thing twice and then went to partial grain extract brewing with kits and have truned to making my own recipes if you want to call it that..... Keep in mind that I started brewing in June of 2007..... I have never bottled anything other than the Apple/Honey mead I did.....
