I am a newcomer from southeast Michigan. I have never brewed before, but a fellow coworker is an incredible brewer. I hope to go watch him brew, maybe next week, and learn a few things. Then with the wife's blessing, I want to obtain my own equipment and begin what sounds like a fun and rewarding journey. Any comments and questions are welcome and I look forward to being part of your community.

Welcome from madison heights.

there is a nice Home brew shop in Taylor there.
mine's at 13 1/2 and Mound, which would be a haul for you.

Welcome, I grew up just south of Lansing and really want to move back.

Having someone that can help you is a big plus--there will be lots of questions on your first batch.

BTW, any chance you're a Lions fan? With all the Cheeseheads on this board I feel severely outnumbered.

Good luck to ya,

Jason

Sports brewpub in wyandotte is usually good. Havent been to Fort St brewery lately, but have heard that there beer is good too. Been to Royal Oak, and think that they are really good. MBC has to be the best, but then again, thats a bit of a drive.
