Hi Home Brewers,
I have recently moved from England to Brazil and am very keen to try and make my own cider and bitters.
Although craft beer is available here (bottled generally) it isn't often I find lighter like back home. Cider is a rarity and normally its Magners or something similar so not really cider in my opinion!
I have very limited knowledge of brewing. I once made some ale with my dad many moons ago and some cider with friends from the apples that fell in our parents gardens. Both turned out a bit rancid so i am hoping to make some improvements on that!
My first project i'm planning on undertaking will be to make some cider with a medium sweetness.
I look forward to reading the guides available here and asking questions which i am sure many of you can help me with.
Alex
