I'm new here as well but share your interest in spreadsheets. OOh data, data, data..!
In getting ready to try brewing again I purchased "BeerAlchemy" for my Macbook Pro. Easy online download (not free - $29.95, but reasonable) and was easy to figure out. I'm sure the actual experts on this forum will provide some better guidance and some PC alternatives, but that's what this newbie is starting off.
