hello, my name is Ken im from syracue ny and have been doing a lot of research about brewing your own beer and it looks like im going to try it and im here for more research and help as well so hi everyone

well i found the one im going to do once i get my equipment, by any chance is there a clone for the cherry wheat by sam adams?

Welcome!

i would go with something simpler for your first brew...no fruit beers for sure.

if you like wheats, why not try the simplest, easiest, quickest recipe out there?

6 lbs Wheat Dry Malt Extract (or 7 lbs Wheat Liquid Malt Extract)
1 oz of hallertau (or tettnanger, or saaz) - boil for 60 minutes
Yeast: WLP300 or other wheat yeast

ferment at 70 F or lower if you can. ferment for at least 2 weeks, then bottle or keg. if bottling, open after another two weeks...fastest brew out there!

it's a fantastic brew...you won't regret it.

:mug:

well i wasnt going to attempt the cherry wheat yet, but how would the blue moon clone do for a first time brew?
