HELP!!!!!!

I Brewed an all grain pumpkin ale today and it was going perfectly I had cinnamon sugar roasted pumpkin in my mash Spices at flameout it was beautiful.....but then my brew buddy took a temp reading in the brew kettle and broke the thermometer inside the pot!!!!!! No mercury came out it didn't break that part but 4-5 of the tiny pebble sized black weights made it into the brew which was immediately filtered and they were recovered but they were in there post boil (pre yeast pitch) so is that dangerous?? And will my poor ale still be able to ferment well if everything was strained from it(pre pitch) before the primary fermenter?
Thanks in advance for your help

You really have to do some research on the thermometer. It could be mercury or alcohol. Try and contact the manufacturer and see if they can tell you what the material is. I would continue to ferment until I got more info but wait until serving until you are 100% its safe.

Ahhh sooo...after the initial shock of it happening and a little forum hopping thanks to your answer I now see I'm in the clear aaand this problem is far too common those things blow (the true brew blue top floating thermometer) good thing I have a probe thermometer I will just get another one of those and would advise everyone to do the same
