Hello all from Michigan, I already posted and have been receiving some kind help in the beginner thread. I started brewing with a friend about a year or two ago ( he lives 2 hours away, so rare we get together and put down a batch ) . We basically just started by using the method his dad always did, which apparently is a hybrid of hooch and beer 
hahaha. We both hope to hone in on our one perfect for us brew, and then continue toying with many recipes of other beers along the way.
