Hello all! I'm a newbie here, as well as to home brewing (sort of). I've been brewing infrequently for the last year and a half, but now I'm going to ramp up production and really hone my craft!
Looking forward to learning, experimenting, and getting to know everyone.
Just a bit about me and my brewing situation. About two years ago, when I was dating my (now) wife, I had the opportunity to experience a brew-day hosted by her father (now my father in-law). I was impressed that people could brew beer at home! My father-in-law kept talking about building a home brew system when I asked if any were sold commercially? He said "yes, there is one built here in Ohio, the Sabco Brew-Magic." I looked at my then-girlfriend and asked, "want to buy one?" She said yes, her father asked to be partner to the purchase, and now the three of us have a Sabco setup in my basement with two conicals (20gal and 27gal), a 1.5 gallon hop-back, and wort-chiller.
We really haven't put the system to use in the last 18 months, but now I'm determined to make the best home-brew that I've ever tasted!
