Been lurking around her for years and finally decided to join. I've been brewing since 2002. Beer and mead. I brew all grian batches. I also culture yeast. I live in Southern California.
I got into brewing after an episode of 'Good Eats' where Alton Brown shows how to brew from home. Changed my life. I got into yeast culturing after a yeast I liked to use was being discontinued. I got my hands on one more pack and learned how to keep it.
I have a 10 gallon mash tun, a 15 gallon brew kettle, and 3 corny kegs.
I started out by writing all of my recipes down, but have since upgraded to a membership with brewers friend
