So here I am in Micro Brew capitol of the world and I have not brewed my own beer yet. Well that is all about to change this weekend. I have an ambitious schedule planned. Starting with pressing apples and making a Raspberry apple cider. Then I am planning to do an Oatmeal espresso stout. Am I biting off to much for my first round? I hope not but time will tell.

Have a great day.

Welcome and ...

asheville is the micro beer capital of the world. Just saying. Hell, we'll concede you that title so long as ours reads "best microbrew capital of the world".

I don't think you are biting off to much. Just stick with quality recipes, follow the directions, and sanitize.

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the hobby, and the group, from CO :mug:

I don't think that is too ambitious. Sanitize everything after the boil, ferment at temperatures within the yeast range, and you're all good...
