Hello I'm new to brewing, got a 1 gallon kit for Christmas and have 8 brews under my belt. I have done 6 extracts and 2 BIAB. Looking forward to hearing all of the tips and tricks that people have and improving my processes.

Right now my plans are to stay with 1 gallon batches. My wife doesn't drink beer so it's just me drinking it or when company is over. I enjoy having the variety in the fridge and I get to brew more often which I think helps me build and become a stronger brewer.

Welcome, fellow 1-galloner! Don't let the haters grind you down...1-gallon batches are just right for 90% of what I do, too! :mug:

'm a big fan of the Brooklyn Brew Shop mixes, and have purchaed quite a few of them to try. I'm working my way through them and have enjoyed them so far.

Done:

Chocolate Maple Porter
Oatmeal Cookie Stout

Fermenting right now:

Smoked Wheat (2 batches)

Ready to bottle:

Kentucky Rye Brown Ale (bottling tomorrow)

On deck:

Grapefruit Honey Ale
Bruxelles Blonde
