Heat sink + fan

I am building a Kal clone and was wondering, if I could use a fan with the heat sink to cool down the SSR? I was thinking about: http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_30&products_id=245 Any ideas?? I already have two SSR with the small heat sinks. Would it be better to get one big one or use the fan.

I use a fan on mine, and many others do, as well.

How did you wire the fan in?

I installed an 120VAC/12VDC xfmr inside the control panel and used terminal screws (#6, I think) to attach ring terminals to the prongs of the adapter. The wires from the ring terminals are connected to 120VAC. The xfmr output wires run outside the control panel to the 12VDC fan.

The xfmr is mounted on the right side - just one of many AC adapters I had just sitting in a box in the garage. This is an older photo because I have since wrapped the prongs of the adapter with green electrical tape in case it the velcro doesn't hold up (which it always has).
