Have a few Questions. I have an extra fridge and would like to make it so I can put my primarys into to fermenting have a consistant temperature . I was looking at fermenting jackets but a freind reminded me about my extra fridge. How would igo aboutdoing this fridge. I don't believe you can get a fridge up to 64 degrees.

You will need an external controller. If it is an older model with the typical cold control you can use the 'altitude adjustment' screw to see if you can get it up some. Small turns can make big differences. Mark where you start so you can return to that spot if you want.

I went to that site. it looks like its something doable. But do need a heater tone able to get stupid temp. Iwillplay around with when I get out of work. But I really don't think a fridge will get above 60 without outside source of heat

It will get to the outside temperature without an internal heat source on its own. It will get warmer than ambient with active fermentation raising the temperatures.

But how will it keep it at a consistent 64 if the outside is 55 will just the fermenting raise it 14degrees.

Look at the aquarium controller thread. For $30 you get a controller that will heat or cool depending on what is needed. Some people simply put a low wattage light bulb in the fridge as a heat source. I have a heating pad in myself.
