Are these plastic conical fermenters any good, they look like a steal, but I know how that goes. Just fishing for an opinion incase a smaller one comes on cheaper, not associated or anything either. MPW

cbotrice, I just brewed my first batch in my brand new 8 gallon conical. Mine came with a stand though. It is still fermenting; am getting ready to drain trub out and let settle some more. I thought it interesting that I could get a better price on it from my HBS than I could direct from manufacturer. If you get one, get the gasket that goes around the top to make it sealed. I didn't and now I have to order one. Its about $15 extra. When I get this batch done, I'll report back.

That's a lot better price than you can see here for the 15G fermenter.

Even though it doesn't come with the stand, that still looks like a good deal. If I had the $$, I'd consider getting one.

Just finished and my 8 gallon conical and it is sitting w/ sanitizing solution in it. I liked it, but I have to get the gasket. I would consider it worth what I paid.
