Has anyone put thier beer in a woooden cask?

I put wood in my beer sometimes (like a few minutes ago). I like the flavor in IPAs especially. Spanish cedar FTW. No, I have not put it in a wood cask. If you have the opportunity, go for it and let us know how it turned out. And good luck!

you beat me to that link and the pointers in it.

I would ask if you can should you? Maybe try adding some oak spirals etc into the fermenter or conditioning keg and see if you like the effect. I have a beer engine but don't serve all my beer from it as it's not the right thing to do.

There is a book called Wood and Beer A brewers guide. I have it but not read it yet but looks to be a goldmine of info.

Sorry about the errors I have a severe form of Dyslexia and what looks OK to me is often not. Thank you for pointing this out. I rarley write anything because of this.
