If so, how did it come out?

I was browsing around the bulk food section of the grocery store the other day and found dried rose hips, and I thought it would make a fun wine or mead, but I have no idea what these things taste like.

For those of you who've tried it, is it good? Any opinions are appreciated.

I did run across this and thought it may be important if you was going to make wine with it.;)
Anyone using rose hips for cooking should remove all the seeds. They are covered with sliver-hairs that, when ingested, irritate the digestive system and cause what the aboriginal people call "itchy bottom disease."
