We just booked our rehearsal dinner at Millys Tavern in Manchester NH. Anyone have their food/beer. The place looks great and the selection of their own brewed beer looks pretty pretty pretty good...just looking for others thought?
Huh, never heard of it (I'm from the Bennington area). How long have they been around? I can probably convince the_Wife to go on a research expedition on your behalf.
They opened in 2002, I have never heard of it before. My fiance and I have been looking for a layed back place for our rehearsal...we looked at KC BBQ and Strangebrew, both in Manchester. The former and great food but terrible beer selection (BMC), the latter had a huge list of micros and imports but the setting was just not quite right....but this place seems to have everything we are looking for...I hope???
I got to check this place out yesterday....Its pretty friggin sweet. First, being from Massachusetts, there is no such thing as "happy hour". S,o when we got to Milly's it was happy hour :rockin:, 1 dollars drafts, of the 12+ house brews and 1/2 price apps. Not too bad. Their beer is not to shabby either (almost as good as mine). But I think the best part about this place is that the bar is in the brewery, I mean the bar is butted up against the mash tun....at the end of the bar are the fermenters....To many brew pubs tuck away the brewing process behind windows and walls, leaving you wondering if the beer your drinking really comes from there....Milly's totally put you right in the middle of the whole process.....pretty cool
