The damn wind keeps blowing out my flame! I set up a temporary barrier. We'll see if this works. This is annoying the piss out of me.

Yup. I use whatever I can find to block the wind, or change brewing location to the lee side of the house/garage if I can.

I put up a couple of chairs and leaned some plywood against them. The wind is still trying to blow out my flame, but I am prevailing.

Be careful when you are chilling too if there are trees nearby. The wind constantly tries to drop all sorts of stuff into my kettle.

Last time I brewed we had some really strong gusts - made mashing extremely hard and then kept knocking out the boil every time the wind kicked up. Beer turned out fine though, so provided your stuff doesn't get knocked over I think you'll be good!

:D Yeah, I'm not going to freak out like my first couple of batches. I know all about RDWHAHB.

It's always a bit breezy on my patio so I created a three sided plywood shield to help keep the flame where it belongs. I put some hinges on the panels and it folds up into a neat 2' square.
