I am looking to add a 2nd airline ball lock post to my keg and I have yet to find any hardware kit that can do this. I have seen lids with welded posts but I was hoping to just be able to drill a hole and add a bulkhead fitting that would seal under pressure. Has anyone done this?
Thanks

Ok, I'll ask: Why?

There's not a heck of a lot of unencumbered space on top of a typical corney keg to fit a third post. You'd probably have to excavate some of the top rubber to expose enough metal to fit an extra post, but then you'd be dealing with a curved surface (the two standard posts are mounted on flats formed in the keg top) which might prove problematic to proper sealing.

I'd say your best bet would in fact be to add a post to the lid. That's been done before, for the purpose of adding a long dip tube with a carbonation stone...

Cheers!
