I harvested yeast from a batch of Amber Bach using Wyeast 1007, a German style Ale yeast. I did this 3 months ago and now have the time to use it. How long is a yeast harvest good for? It has been refrigerated during this time. I'm planning on waking it up and making a starter to see if its viable.

ive used washed yeast that was over a year old, should be fine, just expect it to be a lil slower to get going due to lower vitality

Make a starter, and be prepared to wait as long as 4ish days to see signs of life. Plan starting the yeast far enough in advance so you can step it up a once or twice to get your pitch rate up.
