Just checking out the boards and noticed Homebrewer 99's b-day is today. Have a good one. Any plans for the big event? I'm bottling up some 10 lb Hammer today. I'll do it in your honor!

Thanks everyone...the big 52!

Yesterday I brewed a Cali Common. Today's menu includes brewing a Hefe Weizen...there's a surprise!:D

I'm feeling pretty good! I paid the house off last week. Damn! It took me a whole 2 years and 2 months for that one. Now I am totally debt-free! (I know, how UN-American!)

All I have to worry about now are killing the grubs on my 2 acres (not that I've seen any).

Only 3 more years to retirement, but I might hold out one more after that (it's hard to turn down the $$$)!

I know. I was stationed at Bragg 3 times. I left there the last time in '99, but I've been back several times for work and pleasure.

We still have friends around there.

I've also been to F-V, but that was way back in the early '70s.:D

Happy Birthday! :rockin: Since you have the house paid off, why don't you shell out the $10 to become a paid member? :D You've posted enough to practically earn one. ;)

Maybe we should all chip in like $0.25 and buy him a Gold membership for his birthday... we'll all mail in quarters to TxBrew until his dues are paid.

52nd.... I always figured you were 99...... Not that your still not an old fart :D Its just now I realize you are less of an old fart :D

Happy birthday Bill! This place would not be what it is without you!

Thanks for all the nice words fellow brewers. I try to do my best, but sometimes get up on the soap box. Sorry for some of my rants, but like they say...it was a good idea at the time...:drunk:

RichBrewer: I am doing my best to set up for retirement 13 years ahead of my father.

Brewsmith: As for the membership, well, I almost paid today just because I wanted to post pictures. I'm not sure if I'd ever use all the other perquisites (that's "perks" to most of you).

Baron: I can see the Walmart, but why the traffic light? HAHAHA!!:D

Beer Snob: Short story is I found it faster to type in 99 instead of 93 when I first started brewing...and the name wasn't taken.;)
