I have been looking at testing ph instead of using the titration test. I want to get a good meter that will last.

Does anyone have any experience with one of these testers?

Hi ophiuchus 99, are you looking to test pH or acidity? If you are testing for pH, maintenance of the electrode is very important for long life, also you should pick an electrode that suits your need. If you are testing liquid, any electrode will do, if you want to test the pH of cheese then you need an electrode with a conical tip to penetrate the cheese. Take a look at this blog post about pH maintenance http://blog.hannainst.com/top-10-mistakes-in-ph-measurement
there are many manufacturers to choose from and many price ranges, just remember pH and titratable acidity are different. So if you are titrating for acidity, a pH meter will help you get better results, but it will not replace the test.
