I already had 12 plants prior to this year, 3 of Chinook, Cascade, Centennial, and Fuggle. They are all on their 3rd year and took off and even produced well in their first year. This year I split 3 more plants from the Chinook, 4 from Centennial, and 3 from the Fuggle. Those all took off as well and are about a foot and a half behind their parents but are doing well.
I also planted Columbus, Hallertau and Glacier this year. All are off to a much slower start than my other plants but doing well except the Hallertau. Are they just a picky variety? Do they require more or less water than other brands or some other special treatment. One had one shoot come up about 4 inches but then the leaves began to wilt and it died, the other had a 1/4-1/2'' sprout off the top of the rhizome that browned out.
Cliffs: Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Fuggle, Columbus and Glacier have all grown at my location but Hallertau has gone nowhere. Do they need something special.
Ill throw up some hop porn next time I get a free day
