Halfie-batch

First fruit session...I'm going to brew a Honey Porter kit. I was thinking I could throw some raspberry into half of the batch. What's the best approach? - Rack and bottle half of bucket, throw some raspberry puree into remaining half, sit for another week, then rack and bottle? Is it that simple? Thanks.

sounds like a reasonable plan, though I would rack the second half onto the puree in another vessel and would bottle the fruit half when it is ready, which might be a week...or might be two....or four.
