Wow guys, old thread. Anyway, I definitely will drink a Yuengling anytime I'm on the right coast, love a Heineken on draft or in a can, and have been known to order a tallboy of PBR in seedy bars, but down here in San Diego, my REAL guilty pleasure is Karl Strauss's stuff. Honestly, their saison is something else. I can't say it would fit into the style for a BJCP comp, but it is honestly one of my favorite beers (don't tell my pro brewer friends). Their Oktoberfest is just straight up fantastic as well. Don't try mentioning KS to a San Diego beer snob, though. You might as well say you enjoyed Blue Moon's latest effort.
