No this song is a lot less rock then 30 Second and older.

Kind of a Fastball type sound but no keyboard and a little darker.

That's not it but getting a bit closer. That I would consider to be real dark. The song I am after is more pop with a bit of dark to it except the chorus which is more cheery.

Do you recall any of the words? You can sometimes get lucky with google that way. Man I hope you figure out what the song is sooner than that last one I finally managed to find. Boomshakalak by Apache Indian, I was trying to brainstorm that for years after I lost my cassette with it, yes cassette. Just found it last month.

I thought I heard a dog about to freak in the background (while he was "humming", at about 0:20). I think the dog knows the answer but alas he can't tell us.

I speak dog. The dog was saying the title of the song was "OH DEAR GOD MAKE IT STOP!!!"

I've never heard of it though.

You know? I can't remember what I ate 2 days ago, let alone a song I heard a few weeks ago that I didn't know...I would be amazed if we EVER solve this for TX...;)

K, this is bugging me now... we do this all the time at lunch... "Hey, what song is this...?"

You say it's an 'alternative' song from the 90's or early 2000's. What would consider alternative from that time? What style of music do you generally listen to? What are you favorite bands / singers?

We're going to figure this out...

I feel like my whistling is spot on. If you knew the song you would get it right away. Maybe it's just a delusion though.

Alternative song like Fastball minus keyboards and a little darker.

No singing chorus.

Male singer, guitar, bass, drums.

Non-chorus has guitar work where they strum a cord and let it hang.

Chorus is really bubble gum pop sounding. Non-chorus is darker but still pop.

Singer has a whine to his voice.
