This past weekend I was at Sweet Mullets Brewing Company in Wisconsin. They made a gruit aged in Cabernet barrels that was pretty great. I would like to replicate that at home using cubes.
The wine won't be the problem but I have zero experience with gruits and am looking for some guidance as to a gruit recipe that will complement this technique. I have found a few recipes online but am looking for someone with some experience in this avenue to share some expertise.
