I need some help. I need some beer related gifts for $8 or less.

I'm giving each of my groomsmen a basket with a monogrammed pint glass, and a mixed six pack of craft beers from small breweries. I also throwing in a credit card beer opener, some Advil and a bottle of water. Issue is I want to add a little something else to meet my $40 dollar budget and I am stumped.

They aren't homebrewers so a book is probably out of the question (although I don't know of any decent ones for that price anyway).

I appreciate any help y'all could give me, thanks.

swap the "basket" for a ice bucket for (not the hotel kind, the put a 6 pack and ice kind)

A pail is always more manly than a basket

Edit
Im sure you fiance will find plenty of uses for extra baskets so they wont go to waste

Pocket knives, money clips, lighters. I would say monogrammed, because that's what I did but they cost a bit more than 8 bucks.

I was the best man at my friends wedding a long time ago. My friend gave me a monogrammed flask. It is made of pewter and it's heavy. It was the perfect give. My friend died a few years back and I still have the flask. I don't really use it much but would never even consider tossing it....EVER.

I like the idea of a pocket knife.

All three are great. I still have the pocket knife I received a few years ago.

If your buddies like cigars you could put a couple of them in each bucket (I do like the ice bucket idea over the basket for men) to go with your theme. Ultimately though I like the monogrammed flask idea best....

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials :)

Might have to check around to find one for $8 or under tho.

Get a glass cutter from home depot and mount it to a piece of plywood with some wheels, then get some bombers of beer with cool painted on labels (Stone, Rogue, etc).

Carve a ring around the top of each bottle where the neck ends, sand the edges down and give each one a 6pack of pint glasses made from actual bottles.

I did it for my groomsmen and they loved them, I'll try to dig up a picture at home.

Edit:

Here's a video done with wine bottles. 100 different ways to cut the top off, I found it easiest to carve a circle around the top with a mounted cutter and a guide for the bottle and alternate pouring super hot and super cold water just over the scored line.

That's awesome, I love it! Thanks for posting the video :)

Seriously, thank you all for responding! These are all great ideas.

I'm one of the last in a group of friends to get married and if everyone didn't already have a flask I would have done that.

I like the beer bottle pint glass idea, I might have to do a few of these for myself.

I'm liking the idea of the beer tin and black & tab tool ideas. I have to go to Austin for a job interview next week, I'll probably stop in AHS and look around there misc. beer stuff aisle.

Thanks again or the ideas! If anyone has anymore, keep them coming.

No problem. My set-up is pretty bootleg but when I fix it maybe I'll put together a little DIY and finally get to contribute something to the site haha.

To keep with the beer theme, how about an issue of beer advocate or draft mag. I'm doing something similar for my groomsmen. I brewed a beer just for them, a big engraved mug and a cigar.

Good luck with the wedding.
