Brewed beer a few years ago but just didn’t have enough time to keep it up but now that I’m retired I’m going to dust off the old equipment and try to get going again.
Thinking about adding mead to my repertoire.

Welcome from a fellow Texan. Don't be shy about asking questions. Brewing changes so fast it's hard enough to keep up with it staying in it. Coming back there are so many changes it's almost a new field.
 
Howdy. What part of Texas are you in? There are no brew stores here in west Texas. I grab supplies when I visit my son in Kansas City.
