Hello all,
Name's Scott. I just started brewing literally this past weekend. I've been talking to my wife and family about doing it for a while now, so when my sister sent me a kit from a company called Brooklyn Brew Shop I figured it was time to put up or shut up. I've got their IPA mix sitting in a one gallon jug right now, and with the trouble I had trying to maintain the temperatures and getting the wort to cool off (stupid kitchen sink plug) I have no idea how it's going to turn out. Anyways, that's all I got for now. Prost!

Hey Scott,
I'm fairly new myself. I live in Dunkirk, md. I'm looking for a brewing buddy or a way to start a brew club around here. If you or you know anyone that would like to start one. Let me know.

I live in Dunkirk md.

welcome aboard. float around the boards, there's tons to learn just by doing searches. even google searches will give you hits for this place. if you can't get a clear answer or you're having trouble of a variety you can't explain feel free to post it here!

oh, and one thing you do NEED to know. Relax Don't Worry And Have A Home Brew.

Cheers!

New to the area. I live in Chesapeake beach, looking for a supply shop

Supply shops are hard to find around here. Baltimore has a couple and one near BWI and then I know 3 Stars brewery in DC has some things that you can pick up when you are filling your growler (not a huge selection though, mostly necessities). That's what Ive found anyway. If someone knows of more please pass it along
