Hello all! Total newb here. I started my first batch just this past Saturday and am so excited.

I am starting small and slow. Wife bought me a Brooklyn Beer Making Kit for my birthday. Have to limit myself for now as we are in an apartment but are seeking a house right now. Once we have a house I will be moving to 5 gallon set up. But while in this apartment I will stick to the one gallon brews.

I know there is a whole wide world to discover and I am primed to check it all out!

Hello and Welcome! You have a sound plan, and good reason for starting with a 1G setup. Enjoy the home brewing craft!! Cheers!

Hey, thanks. In two hours it will have been the full two weeks since I started the first batch. I was going to give it another week but then decided to follow the instructions exactly so I have a baseline for my very first go around. I bottle tomorrow.
