New home brewer here. Me and a buddy decided to give this a shot. We collected most everything to brew and keg. We've made one brew that left s bit to be desired. Best description, moldy. But we'll try again!

Welcome from Charlotte - dont give up - keep trying - the best secret to brewing is proper sanitation techniques. There are so many opportunities for something to sneak in there that is not intended and can change to flavor. I've been lucky on all of mine so far, it was really pounded in my head to be conscious of sanitation and infection when I started.

Welcome to the group. Read all the forum stickies, they're super helpful in covering most of the basics. Ask questions away, this is a very helpful forum.

Use StarSan on everything post- boil!
