Let see them put Romo on his ass now.
Dude said:Well, worst game we played all year by far, and hung in there to the end with the NFC's best team. I'd love to see the rematch with Woodson, KGB, Jolly and Brett all healthy.

Dude said:I think Dallas will squeak it out in a semi-shootout.
Dallas will run on the Packers, and run well. It will wear down the Packers D. Favre will have to pass like 50 times for a chance at a victory.
This game more than likely decides HFA for the playoffs. No one but GB wants to play in Lambeau in January, but alas the desire to play at LF won't be enough for the Packers this time.

In the past I think I was one of the loudest Aaron Rodgers haters aound. I'd tell anyone who'd listen (and a few who wouldn't) what a piece of crap he is. Last night he proved my wrong, and I am very happy about it. He looked very good- I especially liked his mobility. I just hope it wasn't a fluke.
Evan! said:And yeah, Harris had complete control of that ball before they blew the forward progress whistle. It WAS challenged, and they STILL said it was a TO completion.
Neomich said:Sure, some calls went their way last night. But if you ever have to punt the ball because you couldn't convert 3rd down, you have no right to blame it on the referees if you lose the game. If you scored EVERY time you had the ball and still the refs messed up and cost you the game, that's different. But that's not the way football games go down and that's not what happened last night.
olllllo said:My two concerns about Rodgers: No zip on the ball and a little tunnel vision with the receivers. Still very encouraging outing.
As for Romo, he had great decisions and executions. On the down side... I counted 3 ducks that he floated in the midst of a group of players. They were'nt throw aways either. Might have been interception fodder.
Evan! said:I don't buy that one bit. I'm not putting it all on the refs by any stretch---plenty of it had to do with the INT's and Favre's weird early-game long-ball gambles, and their inability to stop TO. But to say that you can't complain about bad refereeing unless you go through a game without punting is absurd. That drive with the PI call ended in a TD. I'm pretty sure the drive with Al Harris' strip from TO also ended in a score. Given that they won by 10, you can't say that bad calls weren't a factor.
But the game was relatively close and regardless of how many times GB had to punt, the bad calls were a factor.
